  • 1 gunman vs 20 Seals...? I dont know what to make of this. Its hard to call it a heroic mission with the overwhelming force we showed up with. This story has gone from a 40 minute firece fire fight to 1 lone gun man in a guest house. Typical military story embelishment.

  • Well to an earlier post I read of someone comparing SEALS to MARINES. This is the difference. Marines are usually fighting willing and armed enemy combatants. Who have the guts and will to fight.

  • Agreed this SOB deserved to die. Regardless though the more I hear of this mission the less impresive it is turning out. We lost a chopper sent in the infamous does'nt exist "seal team 6" along with CIA paramilitary ops, to take on 4 armed people and a sick and ailing unarmed osama.

  • Totally Agree, Also lets not forget the CIA no one ever gives these guys the credit they deserve. Without them we never would have got him. They are not just a bunch intelligance gathering nerds, their para military unit was right there with the Seals.

  • I just want to say thank you to the CIA and its paramilitary who did the bulk of the work getting Osama. Its funny how these guys are the actual "quiet cool" guys, who never get the credit. Lets not forget they are the ones who chased down Osama and probably invited the Seals to the party.

  • I would say we put the republicans in charge but here on MSLSD I think most of you are to the left. So those of us who are not lefties but conservitives we need the republicans to hold solid. No compromise on the budget.

  • We would have helped these rebels if we had a commander and chief. However a lot of people that are for the rebels and our intervention now would turn on that decision 2 years from now and curse the president whom ever it may be and say it was a big mistake.
